Many parishioners participate in supporting the work of the Priests of the parish and in the provision of various parish services. We welcome more volunteers to lighten the load of those already involved and to provide more and varied parish services.  If you should wish to volunteer, please contact the Parish Office, Tel (01) 4241000. Office hours are from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (Lunch break 1pm to 2pm) ; closed Saturday and Sunday.

The following lists the various groups in the Parish

Liturgy
Members participate in the celebration of the mass and other sacraments, coordinate and prepare Childrens’ Masses, and liturgies for Lent, Easter, Advent, Christmas and other special occasions

Ministers of the Word (Readers)
The scriptures are read by lay Ministers of the Word at all Sunday and weekday masses.

Ministers of the Eucharist
Holy Communion is distributed by Ministers of the Eucharist at all Sunday and weekday masses, and to the sick.

Choir
The Parish Choir practices every second Tuesday, except during July and August. It sings at the 12oc Mass every second Sunday, at the ceremonies at Easter, Christmas and other special occasions.

Cantors and accompanists.
Cantors accompanied by an organist or other musicians lead the congregation in singing at Masses on Sundays and Holydays when the Choir is not present.

Liturgy Groups
They plan and coordinate liturgies for special occasions..

Finance Committee
This Committee advises the Parish Priest and the Parish Forum on the of the finances of the Parish and on fund raising. There are also teams who assist with the collection and counting of the funds received:

Scripture/Prayer
In addition to Mass and the sacraments, there is

Adoration of Blessed Sacrament, every Wednesday, 9.30 to 10.30
Lectio Divina, reading and reflection on the Sunday Scripture readings. The group meets online every Monday at 8pm.

The Sunday and daily scripture readings and a prayer to Our Lady of Good Counsel are on this website for personal prayer and reflection.
